Where they stand on data centers
How they’d address those concerns
The approval process needs to be completely transparent and all the costs and environmental and human health issues need to be fully disclosed and vetted. There are reasonable concerns about power and water sources and costs and EMF. In addition, there is concern about the proximity of data centers to neighborhoods and about these facilities being obsolete before they are constructed (there is an effort to move data centers to space). In addition there has been no disclosure on who would be occupying the property and the purpose of the center that is currently in the approval process (there are different types of data centers). Until these matters are fully disclosed, understood, and vetted it is unreasonable to move forward with approvals.
