The total lack of transparency. The public deserves to know the cost v benefit of having a data center located in their community. The best surprise is no surprise.
How they’d address those concerns
I support the following legislation: - House Bill 1038-would allow the PUC to access actual costs dealing with data centers that are customers of public utilities. - Senate Bill 135-protect residents from increased utility costs as well as utility shortages caused by data centers. I oppose Senate Bill 239-to modify provisions relating to reinvestment payment programs.
